Yamaha Stage Custom Birch

Stage Custom Birch is available in three configurations as shell packs, as complete drumsets with our 700 series hardware, or as individual components.

The shell is a key factor in a drum's ability to "rumble," or resonate. Accordingly, the Stage Custom employs 100% birch - a classic in the realm of high-class drum kits. Moreover, with its six-ply structure the Stage Custom accurately conveys the vibrations produced at the impact surface, achieving performance that overwhelms anything of its class.

Stage Custom drum sets includes the TH-945B triple tom holder with our tom ball clamp that gives you 360-degree rotation. The ball, made of a super-hard resin, is held in place by a single bolt making angle adjustments on the toms quick and easy. The toms lock firmly in place at virtually any angle you want. This versatile tom holder lets you mount any combination of up to three toms and/or cymbals by using either the standard or the long version of our tom ball clamp and CH model cymbal booms.

All Stage Custom toms and floor toms use Yamaha's Enhanced Sustain System (YESS). Mounts are attached at the drum's nodal point, which is the location on a shell with the least amount of vibration allowing for the mount to have minimal affect to the resonance of the shell. The floor tom brackets are small, minimal contact mounts that are also located at the drums nodal point. They hold the legs securely in place without restricting the vibration of the shell.

The kit comes complete with Yamaha's famous hardware that has been the choice of professional drummers for years. The hardware is simple, sleek, durable and allows for fast set-up every time.
